‘Orange Case’
While I wouldn’t say thatZone of the Enders: The 2nd Runnerflew completely under the radar when it arrived on PS2 in 2003, it didn’t quite take off to the heights that it deserved. Although there have been re-releases and the like peppered throughout the years the series has effectively been dormant due to the sequel’s poor sales, though it is getting a new lease on life on PS4.
Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner MARSis locked in for September on PC and PS4, and you can grab yet another demo for it on the latter platform now. It’s called the “Orange Case” demo, and reworks the original demo, as well as provide 4K support for PS4 Pro systems and a PSVR mode.
With Konami’s sporadic track record with re-releases who knows if this version will deliver. For now, I’m just glad this series is back in the spotlight again.
