I’ve heard horror stories of people losing access to their PlayStation Network accounts because of a weak password, unfortunate luck, or whatever the case may be, and while those nightmare scenarios don’t exactly keep me up at night, they do have a tendency to dig at my mind from time to time.

Thankfully, Sony is now offering two-step verification for PSN. Everyone should!

you may set that uphere in your browseror, if you’re within reach of your PlayStation 4, go to the following menus: Settings > PlayStation Network/Account Management > Account Information > Security > 2-Step Verification. You’ll just need to provide a phone number that can receive texts.

With that extra layer of security, even if someone nabs your account login info, they’d still need to access your verification code, which means they would also need your phone.
