OhThe Evil Within, how I can’t wait for you to scare the every living daylights out of me. Shinji Mikami’s past games were my first tastes of the survival horror genre, and I’m quite looking forward to see what he does with his latest title.
The newest gameplay trailer here is full of monsters, scares, and all sorts of spooky things. Including a dude that has a safe for a head. Also can we talk about how great the promotional art for this game is? The face with barbwire is creepy enough, but then you notice the letter T is heading downward to pierce the eye. So good.
The Evil Withinwill be outon August 26 in North America, August 28 in Australia, and August 29 in Europe for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
