It’s not uncommon that many video games are typically released on PC (and especially when they’re out on early access). This is more common for indie games, and Mage Arena falls into that category. However, many games also get a console port later down the line.

Is Mage Arena available on Xbox or PS5?
As of writing on Aug. 2, the popular indie title is exclusively available on PC. In simpler words, the game is neither present on Xbox nor on PlayStation. This includes both generations of consoles for the respective brands, and the only way to playMage Arenais by buying and downloading it on Steam.
Incidentally, the game is also unavailable for the Nintendo Switch, and there are no plans for a Switch 2 port anytime soon. The same also applies to the game’s current availability on mobile devices. If you find any mobile game with a similar/identical name, it’s better to avoid them as they’re fake.
Will Mage Arena release on consoles?
As of writing, there’s no official statement aboutMage Arenanever coming to consoles. Hence, there’s always a possibility for a console port later down the line, but the chances are low. 2025 has certainly been a year of indie hits. We gotSchedule 1in the spring, followed byPEAKin the summer.
Both these games have done remarkably well in terms of sales. They have been viral hits among the PC community and sold over a million copies each. Additionally, the targeting system used in the game will be slightly difficult to adapt for consoles (but that’s quite possible). Ultimately, it will be down to the financial numbers rather than the technical aspects if we are to get a console port for the game.
