Portal 2will mark the first timeSteam makes an appearanceon a home console, and Valve says it might not stop there. Stopping short of making any sort of announcement, marketing VP Doug Lombardi has communicated his company’s interest in doing a lot more with the service.

“We are hoping other titles will benefit from the Steamworks tools and services we’ve created forPortal 2PS3, but we don’t have anything to announce today,” teases the cheeky imp.

It wasn’t that long ago that Valve was defending its decision toignore the PlayStation 3. It’s funny how things change, where we’re now entertaining the possibility of an entire cadre of Steam games on Sony’s Black Box o’ Blu-ray.
