Freddy Kruegerand Jason Voorhees are already inMortal Kombat.The Predator will be joining them soon. It’s clear that horror fans like the idea of seeing their favorite death-dealing icons duke it out in a fighting game, yet not a whole of people have done much to flesh out that idea.
This fan art from PrimeOp over onScroll Bossis probably the closest I’ve seen to someone truly committing to the concept. If Capcom wanted to win back some lapsed fans, they’d do well to get PrimeOp on the horn ASAP and get to work on making this game real, preferably on the oldVampire Saviorengine. In the meantime, you canpick up a print of this mock-up for a measly $6(plus shipping and handling).
Most of these characters were immediately identifiable to me, but I’m drawing a blank on who the bookish fella next to Jason is on the left. Is that The Candyman? Ben from the originalNight of the Living Dead? If I had to choose between those two, I’d have to go for Candyman. Gotta love those bees.
