We need aZelda Maker, like, yesterday

Zelda: Breath of the Wildruins inAnimal Crossingis a match made in heaven. Pretty much anything Nintendo-related inAnimal Crossingis, really.

But there’s a definite line in the sand when it comes to pro creators, really stretching the limits of whatAnimal Crossing: New Horizonscan do. Naydinfar-Crossing is one of those people.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild ruins

Shared on Reddit, Naydinfar-Crossing managed to recreate the feeling ofZelda: Breath of the Wildruins inNew Horizons, set to a trailer with the dramatic score of the former. It works! And kind of reminds me of the vibe thatLink’s Awakeningon Switch was going for. Man, it would be great ifAnimal Crossinghad dungeon crawling elements likeStardew Valley.

If you’re interested, Naydinfar-Crossinghas more ideas on their Instagram account. They’ve done style shots of the Korok Dish, a Gyroid Forest, a Ruined Path, and a lot more.Their PC and Switch setup is also adorable.

Seeing fan-made projects like this really makes me long for more games likeMario Maker, that have long-term server upkeep. Why don’t we have aZelda Makeryet for custom dungeons? It would be great if there were more accessible creative outlets for people to share their passion.
