From MB to GB
With the rise of digital distribution, hard drive constraints are becoming more problematic than ever. It’s never fun purchasing a game only to find out you don’t actually have space for it.
Here is a constantly-updated list of game file sizes on Wii U so you may do your research before you buy. Please note that these are only the sizes of the base install, and some games will require a mandatory update that may be of significant size.
As far as external hard-drives go for the Wii U,this is the one I recommend personally, having tried a handful of them. It works great, and 2TB is really all you’ll ever need for the life-cycle of the console. It has its own power source, so you won’t have to bother with the extra Y-Cable.
