The Book of Unwritten Talesis a indie-developed adventure game that has been a big critical hit in the developer KING Art Games’ native Germany. Now the game has been translated into English and is ready for a fall release.

The story follows four characters — Wilbur the Gnome, Princess Evo the forest elf, and Nate & “Critter,” a traveling buccaneer and his hairy friend — who are trying to stop an evil gremlin archeologist (those guys are the worst) from obtaining an artifact that will control the fate of the world. The developers are promising a “humorous homage to the adventure and RPG genres.”
