Who’s ready for the first, official trailer forGTA 6? Apparently, a lot of people, as plenty have already staked out their digital spot ready to view it. Evidently, thousands don’t want to risk missing what is probably one of the most anticipated teasers in years.
At the time of writing, there are 31,659 people currently waiting on the Rockstar Games YouTube channel, where theGTA 6trailer will be playing.It’s not scheduled to play until Tuesday, December 5 (at 9am ET, to be specific), so you’d be forgiven for thinking these eager beavers were being too keen.
However, this could be a pretty historic moment for gaming. Okay, it’s only a promo, but seeing asGrand Theft Auto 5has been out for ten years now, I’d say gamers are more than ready for the follow-up.
The numbers just keep going up
Given the behemoth amount of successGTA 5has had, there’s every possibility the sixth installment could be one of the biggest releases of this – or any – generation. Obviously, I don’t want to oversell it, but the fact that more than 30,000 people are waiting to watch a YouTube video that can be replayed whenever they want shows how important it is to some.
It was just a few weeks ago thatRockstar announced theGTA 6trailer. We’ve had barely any information about the game itself, save for thebig leak that happened in 2022. Outside that, nobody really knows anything about the upcomingGrand Theft Autogame.
I must admit, I’m quite eager to check out the trailer myself. I’ve played most of the major entries in the series, going all the way back to the original 1997 release (Yes, I’m that old). We don’t know what the teaser will show, but it’s going to be on everyone’s lips this side of Christmas.
