This Will Not Be Cheap
Square Enix is teaming up with premium merchandiser Prime 1 Studio to release a jaw-dropping polystone statue, based on the former’s dystopian sci-fi adventureNieR: Automata.
While details are still thin on the ground, Square Enix has released a two-minute teaser showing off the painstaking production of this fantastic-looking diorama. The statue itself depicts protagonists 2B, 9S, A2 and, of course, Pod as the quartet pose atop a miserable pile of rusted metal that was previously a fearsome foe. It has to be said, it’s an absolutely incredible piece.
While no release date or price has been confirmed for the statue, it should be noted that Prime 1 is considered a high-end memorabilia company, with its pop culture statues often pushing well past the $1,000 USD mark. As such, die-hard-must-haveNieRcollectors might want to start saving their pennies right now.
