Metroid x Mega Man x Devil May Cry

Every few months, I think about how greatMetroid: Zero MissionandMetroid Fusionwere. So, so great. Why isn’t Nintendo doing more like that? I don’t know, but the indie community seems to share my lamentation, creating games likeGhost Song: A Journey of Hope,Paradise Lost: First Contact, andAxiom Verge. If things turn out well, we can addBeyond Humanto that list.

Beyond Humanhas a few influences it calls back to:Metroid,Mega Man, andDevil May Cry. Each manifests in a different way in the trailer, but all three are definitely present. As a neat backer reward, the protagonist here can don a few custom outfits (seen below) that pay homage to those classics.
