Just recently,Stardew Valleycreator Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone posted a teaser from the upcoming1.6 patch notes. Well, it turns out there’s more where that came from, as the developer says they’re going to post something similar every day until the new update arrives.
Over on Twitter/X, Barone has uploaded another screenshot from the patch notes, this time in reference to a “fixed bug where it was faster to harvest left-to-right than right-to-left,” which has apparently been a small glitch in the game this whole time. The post on X ensures us that lines from the changelog will be “non-spoilery.”

I’ll post a random non-spoilery patch note line each day until the 19thpic.twitter.com/shQyIcGhMW
As for when update 1.6 will actually be released, it’s scheduled to begin rolling out on March 19, so next Tuesday, all being well. Fans in theStardew Valleyhave been eagerly awaiting this next iteration of the game, which is said to be bringing even more content.

Please sir, I want some more!
Released in 2016 – we just passed its eighth birthday –Stardew Valleyquickly became a global sensation. Many consider it to be one of the greatest indie games of all time, combining SNES-style visuals in a colorful world with relaxing farm-based gameplay mechanics.
So popular is Barone’s title that an orchestral tour went global, which featured a live performance of the game’s chill soundtrack. That alone was such a hit, thatadditional dates had to be added.

What’s next for the developer, then? Well, once update 1.6 is out, many will be anticipating further details on the new projectHaunted Chocolatier. We know very little about this game, but what we’ve seen currently does make it look like it may not steer too far from theStardewaesthetic.
