Sashay, Shantae!
The latest entry in theShantaeseries is nearly here, and it’s making its way to a 3DS or Wii U near you this summer.Shantae and the Pirate’s Curseis WayForward’s latest successor to the excellentShantae: Risky’s Revenge, and if these screens are anything to by, it looks just as lovely as the games that came bfore it.
Shantae teams up with pirate Risky Boots in order to thwart an evil curse that’s befallen Sequin Land in this adventure, where she takes up piratey weapons like a flintlock pistol, scimitar, powder cannon, and Risky’s boots to face off against her enemies. You’ll sail the Sequin Land Seas with Shantae and restore her magic, all the while doing lots of piratey stuff that’d make Jack Sparrow proud. Actually, don’t worry about that part. I don’t even likePirates of the Carribbean.
Both versions of the game will be available exclusively via the Nintendo eShop this summer. That’s plenty of time to go back and play the other games in the series, and trust me. You’ll want to do that. They’regood.
