The battle begins
The great Battle Royale bout has begun! In one corner,PUBG(PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds), the leading champion who basically claims to have made up the genre even though it’s existed for years, and in another,Fornite— the current Twitch dominator and new kid on the block.
The contenders have taken the fight out of the ring and into the mobile arena, as Epic just releasedFortniteon iOS and Android last week, and as of last night,PUBGis also getting in on the action. Right now both games seem to be highly rated by users, withFortnitecurrently at #1 in the action category with 54.6K ratings, andPUBGat #2 in action with 922 ratings. It’s important to note thatFortnitehad a small head start, but is also in an “invite only” affair.

What’s crazy about this whole thing is that Tencent owns 40% of Epic and worked with South Korean developer Bluehole to release PUBG in China and on mobile devices. They’re the real winner in all of this.
I’ve downloaded both and will be giving them a shot.
