A small goof on the part of thePlayStation Storemight have have accidentally let the next DLC character cat out of theStreet Fighter Vbag. According to the description of the Season 2 Character Pass (which has since been changed) the next confirmed character to join theSFVroster will be – Ed.
That’s right, Ed. You know Ed! That classicStreet Fightercharacter we all love, right? The skinny white dude with psychic powers who looks vaguely like an early 2000’s Marshall Mathers? Hoodie and purple powers? Any of this ringing a bell?
No? Well, he was inSFV‘s story mode. And we all knowhow great that was.
I don’t know. On one hand I see the need to include new characters and expand the roster beyond the classic cast we’ve known for years, but Ed just seems so… bland. Personally, I would have rather seen the return of a favorite like Honda or Fei Long. Even one of the newSFIVcharacters like Hakan would be a welcome treat!
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see how Ed plays.
