Procedurally generated exploration gameProteusis coming to PlayStation 3 and Vita,according to the PlayStation Blog. The indie title is coming with the help of Curve Studios, the team recently responsible for bringing Mike Bithell’sThomas Was Aloneto the consoles.Curve is also the studio helping bring Jasper Byrne’sLone Survivorto PS3 and Vita.

“Here at Curve we’ve been working with Ed [Proteusdesigner Ed Key] to make the PS Vita and PS3 versions even better than the original, and over the next few months we’re going to have more information on how we’re using the power of PS3 and PS Vita to bring the absolute best Proteus experience to you guys.”

Sounds good to me. Despite Patrick’sglowing review, I haven’t yet made time forProteus.The Vita seems as good a point of entry as any.Proteuswill take advantage of Cross Buy, meaning you get the Vita and PS3 versions for the same price. Are you down to explore its pensive, musical soundscape?
