Pinball Arcade, lauded for its painstaking, detailed recreation of classic pinball tables, has touched up its work for a PS4 release. Just look at thatimproved lighting. It’s like my childhood of inappropriately being in a dingy Irish pub in the middle of the day playing pinball and drinking Sprite with maraschino cherries come to life.
According to the pinball wizardsbehindPinball Arcade, the PS4 launch comes with over 20 tables available — all of its original Season One content. The Tales of the Arabian Nights table, above, is free. In addition to a digital release, there’s a physical edition, too.
Because of the work that went into the retouching,Arcadewon’t be cross-buy, but, “players who own all of the Season One tables can buy either of the Season One Packs for half price,” while PS+ members can take 10% off the asking price.
