You’ll have until January 31 to play through it

Four games arejoiningthe PlayStation Now service this week, and if you’ve been morbidly curious aboutGrand Theft Auto III: The Definitive Editionafter all of the criticisms the trilogy collection has drawn, December is your chance to get in there, tear it up, and move on before it’s too late. The subscription service is also addingFinal Fantasy X/X2 HD Remaster,John Wick Hex, and an under-the-radar arcade-style action game calledSplitlings.

PlayStation Now games coming December 7

As a caveat, PlayStation has already confirmed the departure date forGTA III: The Definitive Edition— it’s only available with PlayStation Now until June 05, 2025.

While we’ve tended to focus on the monthly PlayStation Plus drops, I know a handful of you have been calling for more PlayStation Now recaps, so I’ll get in that habit. It’s also interesting to think about these two services together after hearing a report that Sony is looking into merging them as part ofa new multi-tier subscriptionin 2022.

PlayStation Now December games

As a reminder — one that I also sometimes forget about! — it is possible todownloadPlayStation Now games on PS4 and PS5. It’s not a strictly streaming-only service on these consoles, which is a big deal for some of us who have well-founded grievances.
