‘Shortly after’ the Xbox One and 360 launch

Well this a relief. After the curious PC-less launch ofPlants vs. Zombies 2, many fans of the series were similarly disappointed thatPlants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfarewas only announced for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. But now, we haveconfirmation from Popcapthat the PC version will arrive “shortly after” the launch of its console counterpart, and that more platforms could be in the cards in the future.

I’m glad the phrase “shortly” was used to describe the PC launch here, as it precludes a messy six month to a year exclusivity deal from leaving PC fans in the dust. As for the other platforms — that’s anyone’s guess, but like many have speculated so far I would say the PS3 and/or PS4 is the top choice, given EA’s recent poor treatment of the Wii U.
