How to start the Fishing for Answers quest inPalia
InPalia, you’ll begin the Fishing for Answers quest by traveling to theOld Lighthousenorth of Beachcomber Cove inBahari Bay. Inside, you’ll spot a table that, upon interacting with it, reveals a Lighthouse Logbook by Faadhil. Your goal is to find three of Faadhil’s letters to Jabarii. As the quest name suggests, we’ll be fishing for these three letters.
Where to catch Faadhil’s Letters
Once you finish reading Faadhil’s Lighthouse diary entries, head out of the lighthouse and go east before the mountain ledge. Upon peering down, you’ll spot a large dock. These docks are where Faadhil released his letters, and this is where we’ll catch them for this quest.
You can reach these docks by gliding or running down the mountain. I had the best luck fishing along the dock’s curved edge next to the four-way intersection and found the letters within a few minutes. If you catch a few fish along the way, don’t be too worried, as I got two fish alongside the three letters.
How to find the Lighthouse Keeper’s secret spot
Once you read the third letter, you’ll learn about a spot that Faadhil and Jabarii shared. The letter reveals that this spot had a view of an aqueduct and the entirety of Bahari Bay, followed by the quest updating to highlight Lighthouse Lagoon.
From the Lighthouse docks, travel north until you see a massive rock formation against the aqueduct that splits Bahari Bay in half. You can either glide here from the Lighthouse or climb up the rocks until you reach the top. Once you reach the top, travel east slightly past the tree until you find a small, sparkling dirt mound.
After interacting with the dirt mound, you’ll find the former Lighthouse Keeper’s letter. Read this to find a heartfelt reply to Faadhil from Jabarii. After reading the letter, you’ll receive a box of chocolates,Heartdrop Lily, and Lighthouse Keeper’s ring, wrapping up the Fishing for Answers quest inPalia. You can now use the box of chocolates and Heartdrop Lily as gifts for romantic interests, while the ring will net you 300 gold when you sell it.
