Demo kiosks expected early next year

The Ouya has had no small amount of supporters, but for “the little open-source console that could,” real success might be seen at the brick-and-mortar level. After having been available in select Target stores for the last few months, Polygon is reporting thatOuya will be rolling outto the retailer’s 1,800 locations nationwide.

Beginning in November, Target stores will be promoting the console with promotional video in their electronics department, as well as in-store offers, followed by customized shelf displays and coveted space in the retailer’s weekly circular. By early next year, it is expected that demo kiosks for the Ouya will begin popping up in stores as well.
