Support for methamphetamine still unannounced

The killer app for Oculus Rift is finally here, as the inconceivably popularEuro Truck Simulator 2now features support for the virtual reality headset. As you’re able to see from the lengthy demonstration above, it allows the player to become fully immersed in a big rig experience. You can look left and right and the display moves to the left and right!

That might have been tinged with sarcasm. I get why people are excited for Oculus Rift. Really, I do. There may come a time when I join you in that enthusiasm, but my lone experience with the Rift left me feeling like there’s a long way to go yet. I’m happy to be in the minority in questioning whether it’s a device which represents the future of gameplay, as consumer support for it is the only way it will ever have a chance of survival. I just can’t muster the faith.
