Some people, even a fewDevil May Cryfans, are probably surprised that they confirmed a second season is coming so quickly. I’ve been watching the numbers, though, so I’m not. According to Netflix’s charts, Devil May Cry has racked up over 5,300,000 views, placing it at #4 on the list of most-viewed shows on the platform right now. With a number like that, a second season was all but written in the stars.

When is Devil May Cry Season 2 coming to Netflix?

As of writing, we don’t have a solid release date forDevil May CrySeason 2. Sadly, if the first season was anything to go by,Devil May Cry‘s second season will probably be out of our reach for a while. The first season debuted this year but was first announced in 2018. Now, I seriously doubt that Season 2 will take as long to make as the first; we’ll probably have to wait at least a year or two before we get a trailer for the next chapter of Dante’s adventures.
