Bring back Ultra Games
As previously reported,Metal Gear Solid: Master Collectionpacks in some essential sneaking missions, including theMSX classics. In addition toMetal GearandMetal Gear 2: Solid Snake, players can relive the stealth action ofMetal Gear Solid,Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of LibertyandMetal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
The NES version ofMetal GearI spent too long attempting to figure out back in the day is there, too, as is the less celebrated followup,Snake’s Revenge.Much like the NESMetal Gear, creator Hideo Kojima was not involved in this sequel, and it shows. As a piece of gaming history, though, it’s essential.Snake’s Revengereflects a company capitalizing on the popularity of an original title in international regions. Also, like most Ultra Games, the soundtrack — from composer Tsutomu Ogura—rips.

As for what lies beyond all this, we’ll have to wait and see if thosevolume 2 leakspan out whenever Konami gets around to detailing the next collection.
