This teaser for Media Molecule’s new PlayStation 4 project is curious. But first, here is the studio’s explanation for what we’re looking at (flashing light warning):
“A rendering error on our new PS4 project caused this trippy sequence of colorful nonsense that begged to be shared. Consider it an exclusive peek at our new game if you like, it’s not particularly revealing, but it is fun, that much we guarantee… mostly.”
Specifically, what’s curious here is that the face with a mustache is seeminglythis guyfrom that PlayStation Move demonstration given at Sony’s PS4 reveal event. Time will tell if these things are as related as they appear and if the game uses elements from the tech demo. Hope so!
