The list (spotted bySiliconera) is heavy on the Western action films, and reads like a Spike TV weekend “Movies for Guys Who Like Movies” marathon:
It’s hard to argue with any of these, as they’re all great examples of solid, action/suspense cinema. It is a bit disappointing that there are no real curveballs on this list, though. It’s not that surprising, though; while Kojima’s work is always well-crafted, they’re relatively pretty transparent in terms of media that influenced it.
