No date has been given yet for their arrival on the Switch. Nintendo says more information on these games, including their release dates, will be announced later on.

Though the rhythm gameMelody of Memorygot a Switch release, this is the first time that the mainline series will be on the new Nintendo console. And while it’s certainly exciting to see theKingdom Heartsgames make it to the Switch, it’s a little strange that all of them are cloud versions. It’s been a way to get more recent games, likeHitman 3,Control, and the upcomingDying Light 2on the platform.
It also seems like having some of the older games not require an internet connection would’ve been nice. I’m still interested to see howKingdom Heartsruns on the Nintendo Switch’s cloud streaming. The newOLED Switchlaunching this week will have a dock with a built-in ethernet port, so that should make streaming fairly easy.
