Keita Takahashi working on game with San Francisco-based indie devs

Kamataricreator Keita Takahashi is working a new game withFunomena, a fledgling indie studio founded earlier this year by former thatgamecompany developers. Announced at theHorizonconference in Los Angeles yesterday, the team also includes Robin Hunicke and Martin Middleton, both of whom previously worked on last year’s acclaimed PlayStation Network release,Journey.

The project is rooted in an idea Takahasi conjured up whilst playing with his two-year-old son. Inspiration struck when he imagined toy blocks coming to life. Little else is known about the game at present, but considering its pedigree, this is definitely something to keen an eye on.
