Through “Final Fantasy mode,” you can re-experience the journey of Clive and pals with all your progression and goods from the previous run. So yes, you can carry over all the power you built up over the dozens of hours of playtime.
Don’t count on enemies being a cakewalk, though.Final Fantasy XVI‘s carryover mode also bumps up the difficulty by remixing enemies, raising the level cap, and more.
You can also craft the legendary weapon forFinal Fantasy XVIin this mode. So if you want sick swords for Clive, this is what you’ll need to do to get one.
Locking in this mode will also prevent you from bopping over to the more traditional Story or Action Focused versions of the mainFinal Fantasy XVIcampaign, which makes some sense. You wouldn’t want to break the level cap and dip back into the normal difficulty. Seems unsporting for the opposition.
