Chi-powered antler schoolboy fighting game goes for round two
Pocket Rumbleis a tribute to the Neo Geo Pocket Color era of portable fighting games, currently planned for release on Steam. It features cameos fromDivekick,Nidhogg,JoyLancer,Lethal League, Aces Wild, Bleed, I Wanna Be The Guy,Dust, andmore. This isPocket Rumble‘s second attempt at Kickstarter crowd funding and it’s doing a lot better than in hadthe first time around, but it’s still not quite there yet.
Regardless of what happens with the campaign, I hope that the game eventually makes it to the Neo Geo Pocket Color as currently planned. I’m not quite sure how that’s even possible though.Pocket Rumbleis packed witha lot more frames of animationthan any of the officially licensed Neo Geo Pocket Color games of old. We’ve got the creators ofPocket Rumblescheduled to appear onSup Holmes on Dec. 7th, so maybe we’ll find out then.
