No, you don’t have to spend any real money to activate this, and it’s not something you have to unlock. This is just something the game has but doesn’t tell you about.

Golden and Diamond Fish!We’re not talking about the Gold Fish you can catch on Default Isle, we’re talking aboutGolden and Diamond versions of any fishyou catch. And before you ask, no, these aren’t super rare because you can actually make them yourself!
How to Create a Golden Fish
You can create a Golden Fish by merging five regular fish of the same kind. Simply start fishing at any dock until you catch five of the same fish andopen your inventory. You’ll see all the fish you’ve caught. Now select one of the five fish you’ve caught. You should see two options:
Equip is simply holding the fish in your hand just so you can show off to other players.
Make Goldis what we are looking for. Select this and you’re five fish will merge together creating a golden version of the fish.
How to create a Diamon Fish
To create a Diamond Fish, you need to merge 5 Gold Fish of the same kind. The process is the same as the one above, except you do it now with Gold Fish. This means, you need to have 25 regular Fish to create a single Diamond one. Is it worth it? Well, we’re going to look at that in a second.
How much are Golden Fish worth?
A Golden fish is worth nine to ten times more than a regular fish. Taking into account that you need five regular fish to create one, this means thatyou’ll almost double your profitsby creating and selling Golden Fish.
As you can see from our screenshots above, I’ve solda regular Turtle for a 10K(not too bad), but then I solda Golden Turtle for a whopping 90K. Even if you consider that it took me five turtles to make a Golden one, this is still a huge profit.
As for Diamond Fish, we compared prices between aGold Solar Stingray for 47,60K(Sweet!) and aDiamond Solar Stingray for 332K(Holy cow!), So a Diamond version of a fish is worth more than six times the Gold Fish! When you consider that we need 5 Gold Fish for a single Diamond one, this is still a pretty good profit increase.
The best thing about it is you’re able to do this with ANY FISH, as long as you have five of them, even Legendary ones.
We recommend that, from now on, you only sell Golden Fish and Diamon Fish to the Fish Trader and actually keep regular fish (so you can use them to create even more Golden and Diamond ones).
