How to adjust building height inNightingale
To adjust structure height inNightingale, hold down the R key on your keyboard as you scroll your mouse wheel. While your mouse wheel typically rotates objects, holding R switches it to height adjustment, allowing you to move structures up and down as you see fit.
Changing build height is particularly helpful if you’re creating a base on unsteady terrain and need to raise your foundation slightly to keep things even. Alternatively, if you want to keep it partially dug into the ground, use this mechanic to lower its height. you may do this with any building, but you can’t have random beds and tents floating in the air. However, you can stack foundation stocks by adjusting their height, allowing you to make a base high in the sky with stairs leading you up to its entrance.
At any point during your playthrough, you can change these keys by heading into your settings, selecting Key Bindings, and scrolling down until you see the following options:
