But it doesn’t need it
Like everyone else, I was disappointed with the narrative ofMirror’s Edge, but it absolutely didn’t break the game for me. I had fun treating it like a puzzle game, and saw the campaign as a massive tutorial for the real meat, the time trials mode. The DLC, in fact, was the best part of the game for me.
But still, it would be nice ifCatalysthad a good story to enhance the package overall, and this new developer video gives us some hope — though it still looks by-the-numbers, and a few characters look cringe-worthy (“Don’t get lost!”).

I also cringed at the developer’s comments that Faith has an “edgy” look.
