Winter means great deals and avoiding looking at your bank balance

We’re in mid-December and for me, that means two things: I’m pretty much broke as I’ve bought so many Christmas presents (you’re welcome friends and family) and that there’s going to be bargains galore as many online outlets start their winter sales. GOG.com, purveyor of classic and indie titles, has started its promotionand to celebrate, it will be giving awayFallout,Fallout 2, andFallout Tacticsfor not a single penny, for the first 48 hours of the sale

Unfortunately, GOG.com won’t be able to sell those first threeFallouttitles after the end of 2013, so get your grubby mitts on them as fast as possible. In addition to lots of titles being reduced to half price, there will be daily deals and users will receive mystery boxes each day as well.

The sale runs until December 29 and I’m hoping to pick upPrivateer 2,Alpha Centauri, andOutcastto add to my PC classics library. On a separate note, I’m also hoping to be able to afford food at the end of the month too.
