Ubisoft recently put out a video walkthrough ofGhost Recon: Future Soldier‘s multiplayer featuring Red Storm’s Creative Director Tommy Jacob as the narrator. Tommy was kind enough to explain all the nuances that can be found inthe multiplayerof thewayoverdue next entry in theGhost Reconseries. It appears the wait was definitely worth it though.

I will say that I don’t like the newDead Space-esque coordinate system that shows you the quickest way to your next objective via a line on the ground, but I suppose it makes sense in the futuristic setting. All the various class perks and the new confident system get fully explained as well, which is nice and everything, but the best part was the non-lethal stun mines.

You place one of these on a wall or ground somewhere, and when the enemy walks by it they become helpless on the ground, opening up the opportunity for you to hack their intel and see where their buddies are. That’s pretty much the most embarrassing thing that could ever happen to someone. I want to stun mine ALL the things!
