Before it’s even out for reviewers

While the functionality for theSwitcheShop is set to go live “sometime before launch” (read: tomorrow, likely before the system drops in Japan and Europe) — the first core system update isn’t available yet. Hence, no one has seen the eShop until today, when Nintendo put out a video of the interface.

The quick clip goes over the “news” feature, which has various updates by way of the home menu — this will work out of the box. But the brief glimpse at the eShop UI is what you’ll want to check out. It also re-confirms that if you have any funds in your Nintendo accounts, you can merge them and use them across all platforms, as well as download games in sleep mode.
