How to unlock the quest
The Frozen, Rekindling Land quest is automatically unlocked after finishing Nahuatzin’s Leap quest.
Follow the path as it lights up
Activate the mechanism in the middle of the room and follow the path. Unlock the teleport waypoint as well while you’re at it.
Talk to the strange mechanism
Keep following the path until you find a strange mechanism. Approaching it will trigger a cutscene and activate the Secret Source dragon.
Follow Ehecatl and interact with the pillar of light on the ground to activate the mechanism. This will trigger a cutscene and finally reveal the Ancient Sacred Mountain.
Keep exploring
Follow the quest navigation and keep moving until you reach the Central Axis in the Sacred City. Once there, another cutscene will begin, and you will get two new sub-quests titledThe Forsaken Sea of WisdomandSealed Site of Sacrifice. You’ll need to finish them first to completeThe Frozen, Rekindling Landquest.

In The Forsaken Sea of Wisdom quest, you must activate the Astral Assemblage. On the other hand, you must break the seal over the Astral Assemblage during the Sealed Site of Sacrifice quest.
Go to the Celestial Axis
After the Core Astral Assemblage has been activated, go to the Celestial Axis and talk to the Secret Source Servant.
Activate the Celestia Axis
Once you’re done talking to the Secret Source Servant, interact with the pillar of light on the ground and start the Celestia Axis. This will activate the elevator and take you to the depths of the ancient city before unlocking the map of the Dragon’s Residence in the Ancient Sacred Mountain and concluding The Frozen, Rekindling Land quest in Genshin Impact.
Quest reward
As a reward for completing the quest, you will get 40 Primogems and other in-game items.
