Square Enix is taking its downloadable content very seriously indeed withFinal Fantasy XIII-2, pledging to offer two DLC items a month for however long it’ll take for the company to run out of ideas (presumably). Each DLC update will include multiple items.

We’ve already seen examples of the DLC, which will be paid items in Japan and pre-order bonuses in North America. They thus far consist of extra costumes, weapons and new boss creatures. If they’re issuing DLC with such regularity, one can expect it to not stray too far from what we’ve seen already.

No price has been offered, with producer Yoshinori Kitase claiming he cannot say a word. However, he promised the company was going to weight the price against the quality of the products to find a price consumers will accept.

Damnthat’s going to be a lot of DLC, though!
