Gamasutra just posted a tell-all behind the scenes feature onSuper Meat Boyby the game’s creators; Tommy Refenes and Edmund McMillen. They get into the process behing creating Meat Boy (and his original design, the Insideout Ninja), their regrets about the game’s missing Wii release, the specific troubles that went into the game’s XBLA launch, the powers of Steam, the hardships of poverty, and the beauty of uld do well to take a look.

Coincidentally, I just got an email back from Edmund McMillen about doing our own Dtoid postmortem onSuper Meat Boy. As is usually the case with Edmund, he’s up for talking about anything. I was planning on asking him about the good things that came of working with Microsoft, his plans for the 3DS, the chances ofSuper Meat Boyhitting Project Cafe/Wii 2, and if he and Tommy have any loose plans for a new project.
