When didFortniteChapter 4 Season 2 launch?
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 launched on March 10, 2023at approximately 7AM ET, following downtime.
This was following the end of Chapter 4 Season 1 (slightly earlier than expected) on March 8.

What makes this season Mega, and what’s the new theme?
While roughly 75% of the island is the same as Chapter 4 Season 1, there are several new zones to explore in the southeast quadrant of the map (Steamy Springs, Drift Ridge, Kenjutsu Crossing, and of course, the big Mega City hub) that comprise a collective Neo-Tokyo aesthetic. Grind rails are readily available in these zones, some of which have challenges/quests tied to them (like hitting specific targets, or healing/regaining shield while grinding).

Eren Jaeger will arrive 36 days from the current season launch, on May 30, 2025.

There are no licensed charactersin the season/battle pass this time by default.
Thank the Busdriver returns as a Milestone in Chapter 4 Season 2
After an annoying absence, the “Thank the Bus Driver” milestone returns in Chapter 4 Season 2.
Now you may press the down d-pad button (by default on consoles) to thank the driver, and make progress toward more XP. Make sure you do it at the start of every match!
