Electronic Arts has officially revealed theEA FC 25release date, confirming a previous leak.EA FC 25will be released on June 20, 2025. The next iteration of EA’s football simulation game has been showcased, revealed through a set of cinematics featuring the likes of Jude Bellingham and Zinedine Zidane, amidst a host of other football players. Jude Bellingham has been revealed as the cover star forEA FC 25Standard Edition.
In total, there are over 19,000 players with authentic representation, covering their real-world likenesses and you will see them don the official kits of their respective clubs. There are more than 700 licensed teams and 30 licensed teams in EA FC 25 as well as over 120 real-world stadiums to play in.

The reveal trailer also teased the arrival of a 5v5 mode called Rush, which seemingly will replace the Volta football mode that existed in previous titles. The Rush mode will be played on a relatively smaller pitch, but similar to how the standard football pitch looks. This is different from Volta which offered the traditional futsal experience.
Rush is coming to Ultimate Team, where each player will control just one footballer on the pitch, except the goalkeeper who will be controlled by AI.

EA is also introducing FC IQ inEA FC 25, which is said to offer a new AI model that will be accompanied by new Player Roles that can help players set up their tactics.
EA FC 25will also be adding Icons to Player Career, allowing gamers to play as past football legends in modern teams and embark on a new journey for their careers. Additionally,EA FC 25will also feature a Women’s Career mode experience, featuring the top five women’s leagues in football.

EA FC 25will be released on August 01, 2025, for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders are now live, and you can also check out theEA FC 25pre-order rewards.
