Etherlight and Oatmello have their gameDreamsweeperreleasing in two dayson June 24, 2025. It’s a strange mix of dungeon crawler roguelite and the classic game of murky origins,Minesweeper.
It’s not often that you seeMinesweeperbleed into other games. The classic of early Windows computers had you searching a field of blocks while trying to – counter to its name – avoid mines. Your only way of locating the mines is by numerical hints that appear beside cleared blocks that let you know how many mines border on a given square.

I used to be really good at it back when I was younger. I feel a lot of people old enough had a phase where they had it mastered.
Dreamsweeperlifts the mine-avoidant gameplay and applies it to a dungeon crawler. Each step you take brings with it risks, and a cleared block will show the number of bordering threats. Tussles with enemies is depicted as a rhythm game. you may purchase accessories that will alter the way the game plays.

Speaking of rhythm,Dreamsweepersports a lo-fi soundtrack, which is supposed to relax you while you advance through procedurally generated dungeons with nothing but arithmetic to help you avoid disaster.
Dreamsweeperreleases on PC June 12, 2025. A Switch version is planned for sometime later.
