Rime Bertais coming to Steam tomorrow — just in time for Hanukkah.

The strategy role-playing game, developed by doujin studio Next-Soft Plus, draws inspiration fromFinal Fantasy Tactics, sporting terraced landscapes that impact how you move and fight on the battlefield.

The story centers around intrepid young girl named Livia, who ventures into a mysterious tower with hopes of obtaining a relic that might rescue her ailing village from disease. Naturally, she winds up commanding an army of sentient puppets to save the day.

Rime Bertadebuted at Comiket in 2013, before making the leap to western shores this August viaPlayism. Those already in possession of the game will receive a free Steam key to go along with the DRM-free version.
