Although there’s no actual update for April Fools’ 2025, there’s still a bit of funPhasmophobiacontent for this holiday in the form of afake update trailerposted by the devs called“Hunt for Love.”In this trailer, the ghosts are romanceable and have plenty of puns to share, like “I think I’m Jinn love with you” and “Stop hiding my love! Raiju gotta be like that?”
Instead of the usual three pieces of evidence you can find using equipment, the ghosts featured in this trailer have likes. Some of these likes include murder, poetry, hunting, and snacks.
There’s no actual love-based update for the ghost-hunting game, as the trailer ends by saying “available never” and “wishlist never.” It’s still a fun and silly way to celebrate April Fools’, though, and it’s certainly worth viewing if you’re a fan ofPhasmophobia.
