WithDishonoredgetting ever closer, folk are no doubt already planning their pre-order. A simple thing, one might think, but they’d be wrong. Even here, in the UK, where our options for video game purchases are increasingly limited, there are quite a few preorder options available to those who like extra goodies. Or even just free crap.

In GAME & Gamestation, a chain recently thrown in the lazarus pit, there’s theSpecial Edition. This version comes with a 72 card deck of tarot cards and instructions on how to play the “Game of Nancy.” This is on top of a whole bunch of extra powers, and some nik naks from the Arcane Assassin Downloadable Upgrade Pack; a superfluous name if ever there was one.

Tesco gets theShadow Ratpack, which oddly enough has less rat based powers than the Arcane Assassin one. It also comes with tools and powers which appear to be rather spy orientated. Shop.to.net, an online store I’ve never even heard of, will have theBackstreet Butcherpack. It comes with some explosive and sword upgrades among other stuff.

Finally, Amazon will be stocking theAcrobatic Killerpack, which will help with agility and other movement based malarkey. Every pack comes with 500 coins. Assassins do love to shop. I must say, there doesn’t seem much between them. None of them really seem particularly appealing. Let’s face it, if any of them are even 50p cheaper than the rest, that’s the one I’ll be picking up.
