Capcom has released the first video forNazo Waku Yakata, releasing in Japan this summer for the Nintendo 3DS. It’s an adventure game that seeks to use quite a few of the new handheld’s features in gameplay, including the cameras, motion sensor and microphone.

I get a terrible vibe from this trailer, a combination of the silly and the sinister reminiscent of Gene Wilder in the boat ride ofWilly Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. If you have headphones on hand, you’ll want them for the first segment of the video which shows off the 3D audio effectNazo Waku Yakatawill be using.

Normally, I’d say this is too weird to come to America. But with Capcom releasing games likeGhost Trickin the west, maybe there’s hope. It sounds like the kind of experience that’s uniquely possible on the 3DS and I’m greatly looking forward to seeing some of those around.
