Award to be given in March
Despite having retired from the videogames industry justover six months ago, BioWare co-founders Dr. Greg Zeschuk and Dr. Ray Muzyka will receive aLifetime Achievement Awardat the annual GDC Awards next month. The Choice Awards ceremony will be hosted by Double Fine’s Tim Schafer on March 27.
It’s good to see the good doctors receive this award; one has to feel their departure from the company they created in 1995 was not on the best of terms, what with the mixed reception ofStar Wars: The Old Republicand the controversy overtheMass Effect 3ending. Here’s hoping their future careers inbeerand venture capitalism are just as rewarding.
