Sonic The Hedgehog 3, starring Jim Carrey as Dr. Eggman, Jim Carrey as the other Dr. Eggman, and featuring Keanu Reeves as Shadow comes out in only a few days, but its release is being threatened by a bunch of massive spoilers that are now infesting the Internet.

To mitigate the damages, Paramount Pictures is responding by asking fans to not spoil the movie, as that would disappoint Shadow.

Shadow The Hedgehog in Sonic 3

I’m not sure if this the character to go with for such a campaign, as Shadow seems to exist in a perpetual state of disappointment, but this worked well with the “Don’t spoilEndgame”campaign by Marvel a few years ago, and theSonicmovie series has earned a lot of favor among fans, so let’s see how it plays out.

The studio has un uphill battle ahead, though, as even the post credits scene is already out there for anyone to see. I won’t put it here, and I ask that you don’t go looking for it, either. Just trust me when I say that it does set up some pretty cool things for the future of the series. I believe even Eggman would agree with me on this one.

Five years ago, after the release of the originalSonictrailer — the one with the weird-looking Sonic — no one could have predicted theSonicmovie series to be the one that would break the video game adaptation curse. Not only was the originalSonicmovie way more fun that it needed to be, it spawned a trilogy that seemingly keeps on getting better with each installment.
