Another year, anotherCall of Duty. But wait, this time we’re going back to the roots. All the way back to World War II. Why? Because it’s “in” again, that’s why. Developed by Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software, the latest titleCall of Duty: WWIIwill launch tomorrow at 12:00am Eastern, which means you have less than 10 hours to pre-load tonight.

If you still haven’t started since pre-load became available last week, be prepared for a wait as the download is a giant 58GB (35GB for the single-player campaign, and 36GB for multiplayer).

Call of Duty: WWII Pre-Order Bonus

All pre-orders ofCall of Duty: WWIIacross all platforms will receive the multiplayer upgrade pack which gets you weapon unlock token and 2XP plus a zombies camo pack. Unfortunately, this is one of those games with different pre-order bonuses depending on the retailer.

For PC gamers buying from GMG, you’ll also receive the Divisions Pack of five Premium Gear Sets as a pre-order bonus. For console gamers, the Division Pack is a GameStop exclusive pre-order bonus. At Walmart, you’ll find aCOD-themed pouch as an additional pre-order bonus (to store coins with?).

The “Pro Edition” listed above is also a GameStop exclusive that essentially packagesWWIIand the Season Pass into a Collectible Steelbook case. With the Season Pass retailing at $49.99, you will actually reap some savings ($10) by going with the Pro Edition at GameStop. Whether or not this is a worthwhile purchase is another story altogether.

Finally, Best Buy is includingCall of Duty: WWIIas one of the titles qualifying for the $10 rewards certificate pre-order bonus. Beyond that, we see no other additional bonuses listed at Best Buy.

Call of Duty WWII Deluxe Edition

On the PC, you’ll find the Deluxe Edition available at a majority of authorized retailers. This comes in digital format only and essentially mimics the GameStop Pro version in that it also includesCall of Duty: WWII‘s Season Pass. In addition to the Season Pass, you’ll also receive 1,100 in Call of Duty points (the in-game currency) along with a Carentan Bonus Map.
